Construction Projects taking place in the Village

1. Video and Relining Storm Drains and Sanitary Sewers

En Tech of Closter, NJ has been contracted by the village to video and reline specific storm drains and sanitary sewers in the village.  The locations for this work are as follows:

7th Avenue, 6th Street, and 4th Avenue - video and relining.

Wolfs Lane between Blvd and Marquand - video and relining.

Highbrook from Harmon Avenue to Colonial Avenue, and Colonial Avenue from Highbrook to the Hutchinson River Parkway - video and cleaning if necessary.

First Street to Lot 7 - video and relining underneath Metro North railroad.

2.  Repairing Village Hall Roof/Windows and the Highbrook Gates at Highbrook and Pelhamwood Avenues (COMPLETED)

Ahern Brothers of New Rochelle, NY has been contracted to repair the Highbrook Gates in addition to replacing and repairing the Village Hall roof and windows.  Ahern Brothers hopes to have all repair work done by the end of September.

3.  Street Milling and Paving (COMPLETED)

The Street Milling and Paving contract has been awarded to ELQ of New Rochelle, NY.  ELQ will be milling and paving several street locations in the village.  The street locations are as follows:

Colonial Avenue between Highbrook Avenue & Elderwood/Fowler Avenues

Corlies Avenue between Boulevard & Colonial Avenue

First Street between Cliff Avenue and Loring Avenue

First Street between Wolfs Lane and Corlies Avenue

Fourth Avenue between Wolfs Lane and Corlies Avenue

Harmon Avenue from Highbrook Avenue to Clifford Avenue

Marquand Place, entire length.

Monterey Avenue between First Street and Second Street

Second Avenue from Fifth Street to Sixth Street

Sixth Street between Second and Third Avenue

4. Catch Basin Installations (COMPLETED)
