Hilltop Hanover Farm Events This Weekend

A sunset farm tour, vegetable picking, and jam and jelly making demonstrations are on tap this weekend at the Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center in Yorktown Heights.  Event details are: 

Evening Farm Tour – Friday, July 11, 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Bring a blanket, picnic dinner and tour the farm with Farmer Mary Ellen as the sun sets on the hillside. Free admission.

Pick Your Own Vegetables – Saturday, July 12, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Pick your own fresh produce in the fields and pay at the farm stand.  All produce is grown using organic methods with no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. Free admission.

Making Jams and Jellies – Saturday, July 12, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Join experienced jelly and jam maker Pat Brosnan as she demonstrates how to make delicious jams and jellies.  12 participants maximum; by reservation only; $10 fee.  To register, call 245-2520.
