Building Department
Through the full-time Building Inspector/Plan Examiner/Code Enforcement Official the Village of Pelham Building Department on a daily basis meets and consults with the owners of residential and commercial properties, and their builders and architects to provide advisement for the development of plans that comply with local and state codes for various types of construction projects and business uses.

Department of Public Works
The Public Works Department is comprised of 4 motor equipment operators, 4 laborers and 1 maintenance mechanic.

Fire Department
The Fire Department provides emergency responses to fire, medical emergencies and hazardous conditions within the Village of Pelham and vicinity.

Police Department
The primary function of the Pelham Police Department is to protect life and property and to enforce all applicable laws, including Federal, State, County and Local laws.

Stormwater Management
On March 10, 2003, the Village of Pelham began the development of its Stormwater Management Plan that requires that the Village make every effort to improve the water quality of its streams, lakes and rivers.
