Pelham Receives Most Favorable Fiscal Stress Designation from NYS Office of the State Comptroller

In 2013, the Office of the New York State Comptroller ("NYOSC") implemented a statewide fiscal monitoring system to identify local governments experiencing fiscal stress. This system provides an objective picture of the fiscal challenge facing local governments and school districts so that corrective actions can be taken to avoid a fiscal crisis. 

The Village of Pelham achieved a "No Designation" classification in each category. A "No Designation" score is the best fiscal stress rating of four categories*. The table below provides the financial and environmental scores and designations for the most recent and two previous years:
