The Village of Pelham entered into a two (2) year agreement  with Waste Services, Inc., for garbage, recycling and organic waste collection in January 2018, with options to extend for up to an additional two (2) years.

Residential and Commercial services include disposal of:

  • Household Garbage
  • Recyclables (two groupings) Paper / Cans and Plastics
  • Bulk Trash
  • Bulk Metals
  • Organic Waste

Apartments and Homes on Fifth Avenue, Wolfs Lane and Lincoln Avenue (Monday, Wednesday, Friday Garbage Pick-up)

Garbage: A- Monday and Thursday (See General Info. For Items Accepted)

                B- Tuesday and Friday

                Apts./Commercial- Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Bulk:  A- Every other Thursday (See General Info. For Items Accepted)

           B- Every other Friday

          Apts.- Every Wednesday (No bulk pickup for Commercial)

Recycling: A- Every Thursday (See General Info. For Items Accepted)

                   B- Every Friday

                   Apts./Commercial- Every Thursday (Co-mingled & Paper)

Organic Waste: April 4th - December 15th (See General Info. For Items Accepted)

                         A & B-Wednesday (April 4th - October 10th by Waste Services LLC)

                         A & B-Monday - Friday (October 15th - December 15th by Department of Public Works)

Christmas trees are picked up by the Department of Public Works at the curb from December 26th to January 31st. Trees must be bare of all ornaments, lights and stands, no garlands and no wreaths.
